The "Ghost Division" was the nickname earned by the 7. Panzer-Division during the 1940 campaign in France, commanded by then-Generalmajor Erwin Rommel. The division advanced so fast, and so often outran its own reporting chain, that even the German high command frequently lost track of exactly where it was — a reputation for speed and audacity that became central to the Rommel legend before he ever set foot in North Africa.
This set provides four 1/35 tank crew figures dressed in the black Panzer wrap uniform and beret-style Schutzmütze of the period, each individually posed in relaxed, informal attitudes typical of a crew resting beside their vehicle during the fast-moving Blitzkrieg advance, sculpted with Dragon's fine fabric and equipment detail.
Includes an instruction sheet with painting reference for uniforms and insignia.
A natural crew complement for any 1940-era Dragon Panzer II, 38(t) or Panzer III kit, ideal for building a vignette of Rommel's division on the move.
