This figure set depicts German Panzergrenadiere in the fighting around Arnhem in September 1944, during Operation Market Garden. When the British 1st Airborne Division dropped near Arnhem to seize the vital road bridge over the Rhine, they ran into elements of II SS-Panzerkorps, which was refitting in the area — including panzergrenadier units whose swift, improvised response turned the operation into one of the most costly airborne battles of the war.
Dragon sculpts each figure with individually posed limbs and weapons, sharp uniform and webbing detail, and separately moulded heads and equipment to allow for varied, natural-looking arrangements within a diorama, all cast in Dragon's crisp, high-definition plastic.
