About this kit
The Sd.Kfz.181 Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf.E, universally known as the Tiger I, was Germany's formidable heavy tank of the Second World War. Armed with the powerful 8.8cm KwK 36 L/56 gun capable of destroying Allied tanks at ranges beyond which they could effectively reply, and protected by up to 100mm of frontal armour, the Tiger earned a fearsome reputation on every front it fought, from North Africa and Italy to the Eastern Front and Normandy.
Dragon's rendition of the standard-production Ausf.E uses slide-mould technology to capture the tank's distinctive boxy hull, turret casting texture and interleaved road wheel arrangement with crisp accuracy, and features individual workable track links for a convincing track run.
The kit includes decals covering multiple marking options and full instructions for assembly.
A cornerstone subject for any WWII German armour collection, capturing one of the most iconic and feared tanks ever fielded.
