About this kit
The Battle of Peleliu (Operation Stalemate II), fought from September to November 1944, was one of the fiercest and costliest engagements of the Pacific War, pitting the U.S. 1st Marine Division against a Japanese garrison dug deep into the island's coral ridges. This figure set brings to life the Marines who fought through punishing heat, jagged coral terrain and close-quarters combat on Peleliu.
Dragon renders each figure with natural, dynamic body language and finely sculpted webbing, weapons and uniform detail typical of Marine Corps kit in the Pacific theatre, from herringbone twill utilities to M1 helmets and Unit 782 field gear.
The set includes multiple individually posed figures moulded in Dragon's signature high-detail styrene, supplied ready for painting and basing into dioramas alongside Sherman tanks or LVT amtracs from Dragon's wider Pacific range.
Ideal for collectors and diorama builders assembling Pacific War scenes, this figure set rewards careful painting to capture the exhausted, dust-and-coral-caked look of the Peleliu fighting.
