About this kit
The 8.8cm Raketenwerfer 43, nicknamed "Puppchen" (Little Doll) by the troops who served it, gave German infantry anti-tank units a more accurate, steadier alternative to the shoulder-fired Panzerschreck. It fired the same 8.8cm shaped-charge rocket from a small, wheeled, breech-loading carriage that could be manhandled into position, offering a lower silhouette than the man-portable launcher.
Dragon's 1/35 rendition captures the compact two-wheeled gun carriage, the distinctive shielded breech mechanism and thin shield plate with fine, slide-moulded detail, reproducing a weapon that is comparatively rarely kitted next to Germany's better-known anti-tank guns.
The kit includes crew figures posed to serve the weapon, ammunition and ready-rack detail, and decals for period-accurate German army markings, giving modellers everything needed to build a complete vignette around this unusual infantry support weapon.
A great choice for collectors seeking variety beyond the usual Pak 40s and 88s, this compact kit fits easily into a larger late-war infantry diorama.
