About this kit
Germany's Nebelwerfer rocket launchers delivered devastating salvoes of high-explosive and smoke rockets against Allied troop concentrations, and their distinctive howling in flight earned them the Allied nickname "Screaming Mimi." Towed into position and fired in massed batteries, these multi-barrelled launchers were feared for the sheer weight and speed of fire they could bring down on a target area, making them a key component of German divisional and corps artillery throughout the war.
Dragon's kit reproduces the launcher's characteristic tubular rocket rack and its towed carriage in fine, crisply moulded detail, and — unlike a vehicle-only release — this set is completed with a full crew of figures posed loading, aiming and preparing the weapon for firing, giving the finished piece genuine narrative interest as a diorama centrepiece rather than a static launcher on its own.
The kit includes the multiple figures needed to crew the weapon along with the ammunition and equipment details that bring the scene to life, all moulded with Dragon's typical attention to uniform folds, webbing and personal equipment.
This set is ideal for modellers building a German artillery diorama or vignette, offering both a distinctive weapon subject and the figure-painting challenge that a full crew provides.
