The T-34/76 was the Soviet Union's iconic wartime medium tank, and its huge production run was spread across multiple factories, each of which introduced its own detail variations as parts shortages and simplified tooling shaped the look of late-war vehicles. This kit depicts a T-34/76 built at Factory No. 112, the "Krasnoye Sormovo" plant in Gorky, whose late-production output is recognisable to specialists by its distinctive hexagonal-turret castings, factory-specific road wheel patterns and simplified fittings driven by wartime material shortages.

Dragon's kit reproduces these factory-specific features with careful attention to the hull and turret castings unique to Sormovo-built vehicles, using slide-mould technology to capture the rough cast-armour texture and weld seams typical of Soviet wartime production standards. The running gear, driver's hatch and turret stowage are all rendered to match late-production specification.

Decals are included for Red Army markings, allowing the model to be finished as a specific unit vehicle from the Eastern Front fighting of 1943.
