About this kit
The Panther Ausf.F was the final development of Germany's Panther medium tank, designed to address weaknesses exposed by earlier Ausf.A and Ausf.D/G models. It introduced the redesigned 'Schmalturm' (narrow turret) with a rounded, more heavily sloped mantlet and improved optics, but the war in Europe ended before series production could begin, leaving it one of the most sought-after 'what-if' German armour subjects.
Dragon's kit reconstructs the Ausf.F's projected configuration using period engineering drawings and surviving prototype components, applying the brand's slide-mould technology to render the distinctive Schmalturm shape, thinner gun mantlet and revised hull details with crisp accuracy.
The kit includes workable track links, finely detailed running gear and decal options, letting builders complete a tank that never saw combat service but represents the final evolution of German wartime tank design.
A must-build for Panther enthusiasts and collectors of late-war prototype armour, this kit lets modellers display a piece of 'paper panzer' history alongside their standard-production Panther builds.
