About this kit
The Bergepanzer 38(t) was Germany's armoured recovery vehicle built on the widely used Hetzer/Panzer 38(t) chassis, tasked with towing and repairing damaged armour under fire in the closing years of the Second World War. This variant mounts a 2cm Flak 38 automatic cannon for self-defence against low-flying Allied aircraft while carrying out recovery work near the front line.
Built to Dragon's Premium Edition standard, this kit includes a full interior featuring the winch mechanism, crew stations, engine deck detail and stowed recovery equipment, all rendered in fine slide-moulded plastic and supplemented with photo-etched parts for grilles, brackets and fine hardware.
Bonus items included with this release add extra stowage, crew figures or accessory parts beyond the core vehicle kit, rewarding builders who want to display the model with open hatches and a busy, lived-in look.
With its combination of full interior detail and multimedia parts, this is a kit for experienced modellers seeking a highly detailed, museum-quality replica of a lesser-seen but historically important support vehicle.
