By the closing campaigns of 1944-45, US infantry routinely rode into battle perched on the decks of Sherman tanks, trading exposure for speed of advance across France, Belgium and into Germany. This Gen2 set depicts GIs seated and crouched as tank riders, ready to dismount the instant the column meets resistance.
Dragon's Gen2 generation of figures brought noticeably improved anatomy and more relaxed, believable seated and crouching poses, well suited to draping realistically over a tank's engine deck and turret. Separate weapons, helmets and webbing give modellers room to vary each rider's look.
The figures are designed to sit naturally on Dragon's own 1/35 Sherman kits, making this an easy way to turn a stand-alone tank build into a full column vignette.
