The 5th SS Panzer Division "Wiking" fought almost continuously on the Eastern Front from 1941 to 1945, and this four-figure set depicts its grenadiers wrapped against the brutal Russian winters of the division's later campaigns, 1943-45. Heavy reversible winter smocks, fur-trimmed caps and winter camouflage trousers are all rendered in crisp detail.

Dragon's sculptors have posed the four figures to work as a natural group - moving forward, aiming and observing - so they can be arranged together or split across a wider diorama without looking repetitive. Separate weapons, mittens and equipment pouches let modellers vary the finished look further.
