About this kit
The 2cm Flak 38 was the German army's standard light anti-aircraft gun, and the Sonderanhanger 51 (Sd.Ah.51) was the purpose-built four-wheeled trailer that let crews tow it behind a vehicle and swing it into action within minutes for either air-defence or ground-support fire. This set depicts the gun crew rather than the gun itself, showing the loaders, gunner and ammunition handlers who kept the weapon firing.
Dragon has sculpted the figures in a range of complementary working poses - spotting, loading, hauling ammunition boxes - so the set can be arranged around any Dragon 2cm Flak 38/Sd.Ah.51 gun kit or scratch-built emplacement to create a convincing flak position.
Fine detail on webbing, tunics and field equipment reflects Dragon's usual standard for figure sculpting, with separate small parts for ammunition boxes and personal kit.
