About this kit
The T-34/85 was the definitive up-gunned evolution of the Soviet Union's iconic T-34 medium tank, fitted with a new three-man turret and the powerful 85mm ZiS-S-53 gun to finally give Red Army tank crews parity with late-war German armour. The Model 1944 production block refined the turret and hull details introduced with the type's debut and became the backbone of Soviet tank formations for the final drive on Berlin.
This release is one of Dragon's Premium Edition kits, engineered to a higher standard than a standard Smart Kit — typically featuring a fully detailed interior and engine, multi-media parts, and etched-brass or flexible track components, giving experienced modellers the option to display the tank with hatches open to show off the fighting compartment and engine bay.
Slide-mould technology delivers crisp casting-texture on the turret and hull, along with finely rendered road wheels, hull details and the distinctive ZiS-S-53 gun.
Given its complexity and level of detail, this Premium Edition kit is best suited to experienced modellers and collectors seeking a museum-quality replica of one of the most significant tanks of WWII.
