About this kit
The Sherman Mk III was the British Commonwealth designation for the American M4A2 Sherman, distinguished by its twin GM 6-71 diesel engines and supplied to British and Commonwealth forces in large numbers under Lend-Lease. It served across North Africa, Italy and North-West Europe, and the diesel-powered M4A2 was also supplied in large numbers to the Red Army.
Dragon's 1/35 Sherman Mk III kit reproduces the distinctive features of the diesel-engined hull, including the M4A2's characteristic rear engine deck and twin round-topped hull hatches, together with the standard 75mm-gunned turret. Dragon's signature slide-mould technology delivers crisp weld-seam texture, hollow muzzle brake detail and finely rendered hatches and vision ports.
