The Georgian Legion was one of several Ostlegionen (Eastern Legions) raised by the German Wehrmacht from Soviet prisoners of war and volunteers of Caucasian and Central Asian nationalities. Georgian Legion battalions were deployed to the Atlantic Wall and were present in Normandy during the 1944 Allied invasion, an unusual and often overlooked footnote in the story of the campaign's diverse combatants.

Dragon's figure set portrays these foreign volunteer troops in German-issue uniforms bearing the distinctive national insignia worn by Ostlegion personnel, sculpted with the fine anatomical detail and characterful poses the range is known for. Separate equipment and weapon parts allow for accurate painting and assembly.

The set includes a full instruction manual and decal sheet for correct insignia and markings.

An unusual and historically interesting subject, this set appeals to collectors looking to represent the full diversity of forces present in Normandy in 1944, beyond the more commonly modelled German and Allied units.
