The M1/M9 "Bazooka" rocket launcher gave American infantry a portable anti-tank capability that could be carried into the field by a two-man team: a gunner who aimed and fired the weapon, and a loader who fed rockets and watched for backblast hazards. Anti-tank teams like this were a standard part of US rifle company organisation from 1943 onward, used everywhere from the hedgerows of Normandy to the forests of the Ardennes.

Dragon's set captures the pair in action poses, one figure shouldering and aiming the bazooka while the second crouches alongside with the ammunition satchel, replicating the crew drills used against German tanks and fortified positions. The figures are sculpted with typical US infantry field kit — helmet, webbing, ammunition pouches and personal weapons — appropriate to the North West Europe campaign.

Moulded in fine grey styrene with crisp detail on uniform and equipment, the figures are designed to be built and posed alongside Dragon's 1/35 US armour and vehicle kits, making them a natural addition to any American WWII diorama.

A compact, characterful set for modellers wanting to add infantry action and narrative interest to a Sherman, half-track or other US vehicle build.
