About this kit
The 5cm PaK 38 was the German army's primary light anti-tank gun through the middle years of WWII, offering a useful balance of mobility and penetrating power before being superseded by the heavier 7.5cm PaK 40. Fallschirmjäger anti-tank detachments used the PaK 38 alongside their own dedicated support weapons when fighting as ground troops.
This Dragon 1/35 kit combines a full PaK 38 gun model – split trail carriage, shield and barrel reproduced with Dragon's fine surface detail – with a crew of Fallschirmjäger figures posed serving the weapon, letting builders create a complete gun-in-action diorama straight from the box.
The gun is broken down into a detailed multi-part styrene kit with a positionable carriage and gun shield, while the paratrooper crew figures are individually posed in typical loading, aiming and observing stances.
A compact but characterful subject for anyone building a Fallschirmjäger scene, and a natural companion piece to Dragon's other Ardennes and airborne infantry sets.
