Dragon 1/35 Military - 3Rd Fallschirmjager Division (Ardennes 1944) - D6113

The 3rd Fallschirmjäger Division was one of the most combat-effective German airborne formations fighting as ground infantry during the December 1944 Ardennes Offensive (the Battle of the Bulge). Alongside the 5th Fallschirmjäger Division, its paratroopers pushed through the Losheim Gap in the opening hours of the attack, spearheading the advance into the Ardennes forest in bitter winter conditions.

This Dragon 1/35 figure set (kit D6113) reproduces a group of Fallschirmjäger infantrymen in typical Ardennes-campaign winter dress, moulded with Dragon's characteristic attention to uniform and equipment detail – jump smocks, paratrooper helmets, webbing and personal weapons are all crisply rendered on individually posed figures.

The figures are supplied as multi-part styrene sprues designed for dynamic assembly, allowing the modeller to arrange the set into a small vignette or combine it with Dragon's companion Ardennes releases (including the Part 2 set, D6143) for a larger diorama.
