About this kit
SS-Obersturmbannführer Joachim Peiper commanded the 1st SS Panzer Regiment of the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler, and led the armoured spearhead that bore his name, Kampfgruppe Peiper, during the opening days of the Ardennes Offensive in December 1944 - one of the most rapid and notorious advances of the Battle of the Bulge.
Dragon's 1/35 figure set depicts Peiper himself alongside his staff officers, sculpted in winter and field dress with map cases, binoculars and personal weapons, capturing the command group as they might have appeared directing the advance in the Ardennes forests.
The set includes multiple named-character figures with full instructions and decals, offering a specific historical vignette rather than generic infantry poses.
A must for collectors of Battle of the Bulge dioramas and anyone building a scene around Peiper's armoured column, pairing naturally with Dragon's Ardennes-era King Tiger and Panther kits.
