About this kit
The Type Ommr was a standard open gondola freight wagon used across the German rail network to haul bulk cargo such as coal, coke, ballast and scrap metal, a common and instantly recognisable sight in wartime rail yards, sidings and stations.
Dragon's 1/35 kit captures the wagon's riveted steel side panels, hinged end doors, underframe and bogies with the same engineering care applied to its armour range, giving a solid, detailed backdrop piece rather than a simplified accessory.
The kit includes full body and chassis parts, decals for German railway markings, and instructions.
It pairs naturally with Dragon's Railway Flatbed (D6085) to build out a complete period rail yard or station diorama, and works equally well loaded with cargo or left as scenic background detail.
