About this kit
German war industry and logistics depended heavily on the Reichsbahn, and standard flatbed wagons like this one were the workhorses used to move tanks, half-tracks, guns and other vehicles by rail between factories, depots and the front - a sight familiar from countless period photographs of Tigers and Panthers loaded for transport.
Dragon's 1/35 kit reproduces the wagon's steel underframe, buffers, couplings, brake gear and timber decking in accurate detail, engineered to take the weight and footprint of Dragon's own 1/35 armour kits so a tank or gun can be posed loaded and chained down for transit.
The kit includes full underframe and deck parts, decals for Reichsbahn markings and wagon numbers, and assembly instructions.
An essential base for any railway transport diorama, letting modellers recreate a loaded flatcar scene with their favourite Dragon armour subject riding on top.
