This kit depicts the Schwerer Panzerspahwagen (schwerer Sonderwagen, s.SP), a German armoured rail draisine used to escort and reconnoitre ahead of armoured trains and secure rail lines against partisan attack and sabotage during the Second World War, chiefly on the Eastern Front.
