Dragon 1/35 Military - Red Army Scouts & Snipers - D6068

This set depicts Red Army scouts and snipers of the type used extensively by Soviet rifle divisions to probe enemy lines, gather intelligence and pick off targets at range - a role that became legendary through snipers such as Vasily Zaitsev during the fighting at Stalingrad and beyond. Reconnaissance and sniper troops typically operated in small teams, often in camouflage smocks over standard uniform.

Dragon's figures are sculpted in low, cautious poses appropriate to scouting and sniping duty, equipped with scoped Mosin-Nagant rifles, binoculars and the layered winter or camouflage clothing associated with these specialist troops, all rendered with the fine surface and equipment detail Dragon's figure tooling is known for.

Supplied as an unpainted styrene injection kit, the set includes multiple figures that can be built individually or combined into a small vignette, and pairs naturally with Dragon's other Eastern Front Soviet infantry and armour releases.

A rewarding subject for painters wanting to try Soviet winter and camouflage schemes, and a good addition to any Eastern Front diorama needing reconnaissance or sniper elements.
