About this kit
This 1/35 scale figure set from Dragon depicts German Panzergrenadiers during the fighting around Kharkov in early 1943, when SS and Wehrmacht panzer divisions counter-attacked to retake the city after the Soviet winter offensive. The set captures infantrymen advancing and fighting alongside armour in the close, often street-level combat that defined the Third Battle of Kharkov.
Dragon's figure sculptors are known for crisp, anatomically accurate poses and finely engraved uniform and equipment detail, and this set is no exception - webbing, winter and transitional-season clothing, and personal weapons are rendered with the sharp definition Dragon's tooling is known for, letting the figures hold up under close inspection or heavy weathering.
The kit includes multiple individual figures in dynamic combat poses, moulded in Dragon's standard grey styrene, designed to be built straight from the box or combined with Dragon's contemporary Kharkov-era armour (such as Tiger I or Panzer III/IV kits) for a complete diorama scene.
A strong choice for modellers building an Eastern Front 1943 diorama or vignette, or for figure painters looking for well-detailed WWII German infantry subjects with a specific historical context.
