About this kit
In the opening months of 1945, German infantry fought a grim defensive campaign against the advancing Red Army in East Prussia, one of the last territories of the Reich to fall. Dragon's 1/35 German Grenadiers set portrays infantry defending this doomed eastern province.
The figures wear late-war German uniform and equipment, including the M43 field cap and simplified 1944/45-pattern gear, reflecting the material shortages of the war's final year. Separate heads and weapon arms give modellers options for posing the group defending a position or falling back.
Supplied in grey styrene with instructions included, the set is scaled to combine with Dragon's late-war German armour and other Eastern Front 1945 releases.
A strong choice for modellers depicting the collapse of the Eastern Front, pairing well with Dragon's Soviet infantry sets such as D6019 for a confrontation diorama.
