About this kit
The Bell UH-1 Iroquois, universally known as the "Huey," is the defining helicopter of the Vietnam War, and the UH-1D variant was the definitive troop-transport model, ferrying air-mobile infantry into landing zones, running medevac missions and providing the backbone of US Army airmobile operations throughout the conflict.
Dragon's 1/35 UH-1D kit captures the type's distinctive rounded nose, wide cargo doors and two-blade rotor with finely moulded fuselage panels and skid gear, and includes a detailed cockpit and cabin interior so the model can be displayed with troop seating, doors open and crew figures visible.
Engineered with Dragon's characteristic attention to surface detail and structural accuracy, the kit provides the parts needed to build an authentic Vietnam-era Huey, ready for period markings and unit insignia from any of the type's countless operators.
An essential centrepiece for any Vietnam War diorama or helicopter collection, equally at home alongside Dragon's infantry and armour subjects from the same conflict.
