About this kit
The US Navy's SEAL teams pioneered unconventional riverine and direct-action warfare during the Vietnam War, operating in the Rung Sat Special Zone and throughout the Mekong Delta on ambush, reconnaissance and prisoner-snatch missions launched from Swift boats and PBRs. Their green face-paint camouflage and mix of specialist weapons became iconic of Vietnam-era special operations.
Dragon's 1/35 figure set depicts SEAL operators in typical tiger-stripe or duck-hunter camouflage with cammy face paint, load-bearing vests, and personal weapons such as the Stoner 63 and M16, sculpted in alert, patrol-ready poses that capture the small-unit, close-in nature of riverine operations.
Individually moulded weapons and web gear sprues let modellers customise the loadout of each figure, and the set pairs naturally with Dragon's PBR or Swift Boat-themed dioramas as well as other Vietnam War special forces figure sets.
