About this kit
This Dragon 1/35 scale set recreates the Light SEAL Support Craft (LSSC), the fast, low-profile fibreglass boat used by US Navy SEAL teams for covert insertion and extraction along the rivers and canals of Vietnam during the war. Armed and armoured for close-quarters riverine work, the LSSC was a vital tool for SEAL platoons operating deep in contested territory.
Dragon has engineered a detailed model of the craft's low hull, weapon mounts and boat fittings alongside a crew of individually posed Navy SEAL figures kitted out in period tiger-stripe or jungle fatigues, webbing and personal weapons, letting builders assemble a complete waterborne vignette straight from one box.
The kit includes the boat hull and fittings, several figures on grey styrene sprues with separate weapons and gear, and an instruction sheet covering both boat assembly and figure detailing.
A standout subject for anyone building a Vietnam War riverine diorama, this set gives collectors and modellers a genuinely different display piece beyond the usual land-based armour and infantry scenes.
