Dragon 1/16 Military - Sturmbannfuhrer (Ardennes 1944) 1/16 Figure - D1602

This 1/16 scale figure depicts a Waffen-SS Sturmbannführer — a major, equivalent to a battalion commander — during the December 1944 Ardennes offensive, Nazi Germany's last major counter-attack in the west, known to the Allies as the Battle of the Bulge. Clad for the bitter Ardennes winter, the figure represents a senior field officer of one of the SS panzer divisions committed to the offensive.

At 1/16 scale — roughly twice the linear size of a standard 1/35 figure — Dragon's engineering allows for markedly finer detail in the officer's greatcoat, insignia and personal equipment than is achievable in smaller scales, making this a showcase subject for painters who specialise in portrait-style figure work.
