About this kit
Z31 was another Type 1936A (Mob) "Narvik-type" destroyer of the Kriegsmarine, notable for having her forward gun turret replaced with a twin 15cm mount and for surviving the war to be handed to France as a war reparation, where she served the French Navy as Marceau into the 1950s.
Like its Z-38 stablemate, this Dragon Smart Kit uses re-engineered, slide-moulded tooling to simplify construction while preserving fine detail across the hull, twin gun turret, torpedo tubes and AA mounts, giving builders an accurate large-destroyer profile with fewer, better-fitting parts.
A photo-etched detail fret and decal sheet for Kriegsmarine markings are included, supporting full hull or waterline construction.
A great pairing with the Z-38 kit for collectors wanting to display the two distinct gun arrangements of the Type 1936A destroyers side by side.
