About this kit
The Artesania 1/84 Cutty Sark Tea Clipper 1869 (AL22800) is a large wooden ship model kit of the most famous clipper ever built, here in its refreshed version. Launched at Dumbarton in Scotland in 1869, Cutty Sark raced cargoes of tea from China to London for eight seasons, then carried Australian wool and was the fastest ship on that trade for a decade. In 1954 she entered dry dock at Greenwich, London, where she is preserved as a museum ship.
Completed, the model measures 1032 mm long, 624 mm high and 350 mm wide, a true centrepiece for a study or living room.
