Ammo by MIG Shader - A.MIG-0868 Candy Red Shader

Ammo by MIG’s Shader Series is a specially formulated range of acrylic-based paints designed to create dynamic shading and weathering effects on scale models and miniatures. These shaders are applied using an airbrush to build up layers of realistic shadow, light contrast, soot, dust, or colour modulation without obscuring surface detail.

Unlike traditional filters or washes, shaders offer subtle tonal shifts with precise control, thanks to their ultra-thin consistency and fast-drying formula. They can be used directly from the bottle and are ideal for adding depth around panel lines, rivets, and raised details, or for enhancing fabric and vehicle surfaces. Series 1 includes foundational colours such as black, white, earth tones, and grime, making it a versatile set for a wide range of subjects, from aircraft and armour to figures and dioramas.
