AK Interactive Acrylic Light & Dry Crackle Effects (100ml) is a water-based textured product specially formulated to create realistic crackle and weathering effects on dioramas, terrain bases, and scale models. Designed to replicate dry, arid earth surfaces or sun-baked terrain, it produces natural-looking fissures and broken ground textures as it dries.

This product works best when applied over a primed surface and in a medium to thick layer. The size and depth of the cracks will vary depending on application thickness and ambient drying conditions. Ideal for depicting dried mud, desert landscapes, or aged surfaces, it adds visual complexity and authenticity to any scene. Once dry, it can be further enhanced with washes, pigments, or dry brushing. Clean-up is simple with water before the product sets.
