The Italeri 1/35 Sd.Kfz.140 Flakpanzer 38(t) Gepard (96461) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the Flakpanzer 38(t) Gepard — the German light anti-aircraft tank mounting the 2cm FlaK 38 on the Panzer 38(t) chassis. Produced as an interim anti-aircraft vehicle while better solutions were developed, the Gepard provided armoured formations with some mobile AA protection against strafing aircraft on the Eastern Front. The 38(t) chassis and open-topped AA turret combination makes for an interesting and relatively rare subject.
