The Italeri 1/48 F-35B Lightning II (92810) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the F-35B — the short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) variant of the Lightning II developed primarily for the USMC and RAF/RN. The F-35B uses a Rolls-Royce LiftSystem to enable vertical landing and short take-offs, making it compatible with assault ships and the Royal Navy's Queen Elizabeth-class carriers. It entered UK service in 2018, bringing F3-generation capability to the Royal Navy for the first time in decades.
