The Italeri 1/72 OA-4M Skyhawk II (90165) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Douglas OA-4M — the USMC two-seat forward air control variant of the legendary Skyhawk. The OA-4M was converted from TA-4F trainers and modified for the FAC (Forward Air Controller) role, with enhanced communications equipment for directing air strikes on ground targets. The USMC used OA-4Ms to control Harrier and Hornet strikes during operations in the 1980s and 1990s. A rare and interesting Skyhawk variant.
