The Italeri 1/72 Panzer IV F1 (7514) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf.F1 — the short-barrelled 7.5cm howitzer armed version of the Panzer IV used primarily for infantry support in the early-to-mid war period. The F1 was later upgraded to the F2 with the longer gun as the infantry support role was superseded by the need for better anti-tank performance. At 1/72 scale this captures the short-nosed Panzer IV in its infantry support configuration.
