The Italeri 1/72 M4A2 Sherman III (7511) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the M4A2 — the diesel-engined Sherman variant supplied to the British Army (as the Sherman III) and the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease. The M4A2's GM 6046 diesel engine was preferred for its reduced fire risk and the variant was supplied extensively to US allies. Soviet and British Sherman III crews valued its reliability.
