The Italeri 1/72 M3 Gun Motor Carriage (7510) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the M3 GMC — the US Army's first tank destroyer of WWII, mounting the 75mm M1897A4 gun (derived from the French 75) on a half-track. The M3 GMC served in North Africa from late 1942 as a stop-gap tank destroyer. Quick to produce and surprisingly effective in the open terrain of North Africa, it proved outclassed in the denser terrain of Italy.
