The Italeri 1/35 Kübelwagen Type 82 (7405) is a large-format 1/35 scale model kit of the Volkswagen Kübelwagen — the ubiquitous German light utility vehicle of WWII, equivalent in role to the Allied Jeep. The Type 82 served on every front from the deserts of North Africa to the frozen Eastern Front, carrying officers, delivering dispatches, and performing countless light utility duties. Its air-cooled Beetle engine and torsion bar suspension gave it surprisingly good off-road performance despite being a relatively light vehicle.
