The Italeri 1/35 M24 Chaffee Korean War (6587) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the M24 Chaffee light tank in Korean War configuration. The Chaffee was the primary US light tank at the outbreak of the Korean War in June 1950 and suffered heavy losses against North Korean T-34/85 tanks, to which its 75mm gun proved inadequate. Despite this early vulnerability, it continued to serve in reconnaissance and infantry support roles throughout the conflict.
