The Italeri 1/35 Semovente M42 da 75/34 (6584) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the Semovente M42 da 75/34 — the improved Italian self-propelled gun mounting the longer 75mm/34 calibre gun that provided significantly better anti-tank performance than the shorter 75/18. The 75/34 variant entered service in 1943 and its improved firepower made it a more capable anti-tank vehicle, capable of defeating the Sherman and most contemporary Allied tanks at combat ranges. An important late-Italian WWII subject.
