The Italeri 1/35 M8 Greyhound (6364) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the M8 Light Armored Car — the six-wheeled US Army reconnaissance vehicle that served in NW Europe from 1944. The Greyhound provided cavalry and reconnaissance units with excellent road mobility and a useful 37mm gun armament for engaging light targets. Its open-topped turret and relatively light armour made it vulnerable in close combat, but its speed and radio equipment made it an effective reconnaissance platform.
