The Italeri 1/72 Waterloo — La Haye Sainte (6197) is a large 1/72 scale diorama battle set recreating the bitter fighting for the farm of La Haye Sainte at the Battle of Waterloo — arguably the most important tactical position on the Waterloo battlefield. The farm was held by the King's German Legion under Major Baring from dawn to late afternoon until ammunition ran out, and its loss opened Wellington's centre to devastating French attack.
