The Tamiya 1/48 Bf 109G-6 Late Model (61128) reproduces the Bf 109G in its late production configuration — the final evolution of the G-series 'Gustav' that incorporated additional armament options, revised cockpit canopy variants, and other late-war improvements. This late model is associated with the final desperate defence of the Reich in 1944–45, when Bf 109G-6 variants equipped with 30mm Mk108 'Motorkanone' cannon or twin underwing gondolas were tasked with bomber interception.
