The Italeri 1/35 MTM Barchino with Crew (5623) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the Italian MTM Barchino — the famous Italian explosive motorboat used in daring commando raids against Allied shipping. The MTM (Motoscafo Turismo Modificato) was a small motorboat packed with explosives, steered by a single pilot who aimed at the target and jumped clear before impact. The Barchino scored notable successes including at Alexandria harbour in December 1941.
