The Italeri 1/35 SLC Maiale (5621) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the Italian SLC (Siluro a Lenta Corsa) — the famous 'Pig' human torpedo used by Italian Navy commandos for attacks on Allied warships in harbour. The Maiale was ridden by two frogmen in diving suits who guided it beneath an enemy ship and attached the detachable warhead to the hull. The SLC achieved spectacular successes including the damage of HMS Valiant and HMS Queen Elizabeth in Alexandria harbour in December 1941.
