The Italeri 1/24 Mercedes-Benz SSKL Racing Cars (4719) is a large-format 1/24 scale model kit of the legendary Mercedes-Benz SSKL — perhaps the greatest Grand Prix racing car of the early 1930s. Driven by Rudolf Caracciola, the SSKL won the 1931 Mille Miglia — the first time a non-Italian car had won the race — and dominated European road racing in that period. The supercharged 7.1-litre engine and stripped lightweight body made it an extraordinary machine for its era.
