The Italeri 1/24 Renault RE 23 Turbo F1 (4707) is a large-format 1/24 scale model kit of the Renault RE23 — the Formula 1 car that pioneered turbocharged power in Grand Prix racing and changed the sport forever. The RE23 appeared in 1977 and was the first turbocharged F1 car to race, driven by Jean-Pierre Jabouille. Though initially unreliable, the programme ultimately led to the first turbo F1 victory at the 1979 French Grand Prix. An enormously significant car in motorsport history.
