The Italeri 1/35 1/4 Ton 4x4 Ambulance Jeep D-Day (326) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the Willys Jeep in ambulance configuration as used during the D-Day landings and Normandy campaign. Medical jeeps were fitted with litter (stretcher) carriers on the sides and rear, allowing them to evacuate casualties from the front line. The distinctive red cross markings and medical equipment made these vehicles a vital part of Allied casualty evacuation in Normandy.
